My name is Mrs. Katie Wrobbel- Stenberg and I currently teach elementary special education. I graduated from Grand Valley State University in Allendale/Grand Rapids, MI in December 2011. I received my Michigan provisional teaching certificate for elementary education and have added endorsements in cognitive impairments as well as early childhood education!
Currently I am taking graduate level courses in early childhood education to receive the new state of Michigan ZS endorsement for both general and special early childhood education. I have a passion for education and consider myself a lifelong learner. I recently got hired in the Oxford Community School District as a new student services teacher at Clear Lake Elementary. I could not be more thrilled to be joining the amazing staff in the Oxford schools! My purpose for this web page is twofold: First, to use this as a place to hold my online portfolio. I have included example lesson plans as well as other teaching artifacts can be found here by clicking the tabs on the top of this page. I have also added a page that includes descriptions of teaching experiences. If you're interested in learning more about me, please check the portfolio area out first. My second goal for this site is to communicate with the parents and students of room 34 through our classroom blog! Pictures and videos of various fun and exciting activities will be documented in the blog. So please take a look around, my hope is that you learn something new in the process. The world is so exciting, and what is life without learning something new every once in a while? Enjoy! |
